Free domain = standard .com-equivalent cost; premium TLDs are paid by you. SEO (on-page work, local listings, ongoing optimization) uses studio minutes — it is not included in the $20/mo care fee. Large builds (AI features, cron jobs, analytics stacks, databases beyond a basic store) require consultation. After the 12-month minimum, cancel anytime — we transfer the domain (you pay the registrar transfer fee), send a site download, and shut down hosting and email. Early cancellation (before the 12-month minimum) forfeits all initialization fees and ends access to everything set up under the plan — including email accounts, the domain, and the website. Nonprofits and veteran-owned businesses: ask about our discount.

Is the free mockup really free? What's the catch?

Really free — one concept and one revision. Fill out the intake form so we know the page type, the feel you want, and sites you like; that brief is what we design from. No invoice, no obligation. Extra design rounds after that use studio time.

What is studio time?

Studio time is the metered work on your site or app — updates, fixes, build, SEO, and setup beyond what's already included. It's billed at $60/hr by the minute on bill.jbnx.io (paired with demo.jbnx.io). Your year total with us (setup + care + our add-ons, not pass-through fees) becomes included minutes: $1 = 1 minute. Unused minutes roll over. Extra time needs prepaid credits on bill.jbnx.io.

Is SEO included in $20/mo?

No. Care covers hosting, TLS, and the domain/DNS we manage. SEO work — on-page changes, local listings, content for search, ongoing optimization — burns studio minutes from your included balance or prepaid credits.

Who owns the domain and the site?

We register and fully manage the domain and stack while you're a customer — that's how we keep launches and fixes fast. When you cancel after the 12-month minimum, we transfer the domain (you pay the registrar transfer fee), send a download of the website, and shut down hosting and email. Cancelling early — before the 12-month minimum — forfeits the initialization fees and ends access to everything we set up, including email accounts, the domain, and the website.

What's included in $20/mo?

Care for the live site: hosting, TLS, and domain/DNS we manage. Email forwarding is included; a real inbox is $5/mo per mailbox ($3/mo each when you have more than five). Studio minutes come from your year total — for example Site launch is $100 + $240 = $340 → 340 minutes in year one.

How do Shopify and Square work?

Shopify: your care plan plus Shopify's Basic rate as a pass-through (typically $29/mo billed yearly or $39/mo monthly — their price). That pass-through does not add studio minutes. Square: $100 setup on your Square seller account, plus studio time for the real work; we'll run a demo so you can see the minute cost before you commit.

What counts as a large / custom build?

Anything beyond a basic store or flat site that needs consultation — for example AI features, cron jobs, analytics stacks, or databases and workflows that aren't a simple launch. We'll scope it before work starts.

By requesting a mockup, audit, or concept, you agree that all concepts, designs, drafts, and mockups created by JBNX LLC ("Designer") are and remain the sole property of Designer and are protected by U.S. copyright law. They are provided to you for evaluation only. No license or right to use, reproduce, publish, modify, or create derivative works is granted unless and until Designer receives payment in full under a separate agreement.

Any unauthorized use constitutes copyright infringement and a breach of these terms, and Designer may pursue all available remedies, including statutory damages and attorney's fees. You agree not to share mockups or concepts with third parties without Designer's written consent.
